The scientific programme of the workshop will include up to about 40 presentations of recent results and ongoing research. The presentations will be selected according to originality, significance, and general interest, on the basis of submitted abstracts.

The selection committee consists of the WADT Steering Committee.

The abstracts must be in pdf (or standard postscript) format, up to 2 pages long including references, in the style for publication in Lecture Notes in Computer Science (see To submit an abstract, send a single e-mail to (preferably in MIME format, plain text) containing:

    1. The title of abstract
    2. The corresponding author's name, e-mail address, and fax number
    3. A list of the main WADT topics addressed in the abstract
    4. The submitted abstract (preferably in pdf, otherwise postscript)

Receipt of the submission will be acknowledged.

If a submission is intended for presentation on the CoFI Day, this should be indicated in a footnote on the first page of the abstract. (This indication will not influence the selection process, but it may affect the scheduling of the presentation.)

Abstracts that substantially depart from the required format, style or length may be rejected without consideration.

The final versions of the selected abstracts will be made available on the workshop web page, and included in a hand-out for the workshop participants.

After the workshop, selected authors will be invited to submit full papers for the refereed proceedings, which is expected to be published as a volume of Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science.
